Job summary

Chapman Automotive Group in Arizona is seeking experienced Mainline Service Technicians to join our team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicle systems, working closely with Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service technician experience.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a huge plus!
• Must have your own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs.
• Execute work specified on the repair order per dealership standards.
• Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Thoroughly document vehicle inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
