Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Huntsville, AL. You will provide meticulous repair work to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling with a focus on speed, quality and customer excellence.

You’ll use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, and other shop equipment, plan repairs, prepare estimates, and ensure workmanship meets WOW standards. Compensation ranges from $20–$32 per hour, with potential bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work according to WOW plan.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles per factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final results.
