Gerber Collision & Glass in Destin, FL is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence in line with the WOW operating standard.

The role requires a high school diploma or a 3-year apprenticeship/technical training, with the ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship acceptable.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents using fillers when needed; realign chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair glass, windshields, interiors as required.
• Weld, fit, and paint vehicles to factory specs or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
