Job summary

Triumph Group in Windsor, CT is seeking a 1st Shift Assembly and Test Technician to produce end unit products by assembling and testing parts and subassemblies. The position requires hands-on work with mechanical and/or hydraulic assemblies and the ability to read blueprints and follow engineering instructions.

The successful candidate will show strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Builds and assembles components using procedures and blueprints.
• Inspects subassemblies with inspection equipment and reads blueprints.
• Tests units per customer procedures and engineering instructions.
• Meets production deadlines by following correct procedures.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
