Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Assembler II to build and test complex assemblies at floor stations using hand and power tools. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, document results and repair parts that fail inspections.

Candidate should have 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and be able to work at multiple workstations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Complete paperwork and shop travelers accurately.
• Follow internal procedures and policies.
• Understand verbal, written or diagram instructions.
• Perform basic math in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances.
• Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units.
• Work on precise and complicated assemblies.
• May assist less experienced team members with knowledge and expertise.
• Assemble, inspect, document and test assemblies.
• Operate production machines (pneumatic riveter, spot welder, etc.) to perform operations.
• Perform multiple tasks at several workstations as production needs require.
• Provide some operation and process training.
