Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated is seeking a Production Assembler II to assemble units at floor stations using hand and power tools, reading drawings and following precise specifications. The role supports calibration and testing of components within a climate-controlled environment.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience, with opportunities for skill development and career growth within a manufacturing setting in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to understand and complete assigned paperwork and shop travelers.
• Ability to understand internal procedures and policies.
• Ability to follow verbal, written or diagram instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in various units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units per product specs.
• Work on precise and complicated assemblies.
• Assist less experienced teammates with knowledge and guidance.
• Assemble, inspect, document and test simple and complex assemblies.
• Operate production machines like pneumatic riveter, spot welder, arbor press, punch press and break press.
• Handle multiple tasks at several workstations as needed.
• Provide some operation and process training.

Job Summary
