Job summary

Vermeer Corporation is seeking an Assembly role on First Shift to build high-quality equipment for customers around the world. You will follow digital instructions to assemble components and subassemblies, ensuring parts meet torque specs and testing movement as required.

Team-based environment, emphasis on quality and process adherence, with opportunities to contribute to 5S and continuous improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete Vermeer Assembly Training.
• Ability to complete a specified number of tasks in a certain amount of time repeatedly.
• Ability to consistently meet quality expectations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided job instructions to assemble equipment and subassemblies per quality standards.
• Align components and bolts, install moving parts, and test for proper movement.
• Inspect painted parts to ensure quality.
• Apply decals, logos, safety notices and other items to the finished product.
• Calculate figures and apply basic mathematical functions.
• Support 5S/workplace organization and suggest improvements.
