Job summary

Ralliant is seeking an Assembly technician for the A shift at our Fairport, NY location. You will set up and operate various assembly equipment, rotate between cells as directed by supervision, and pack finished products for shipment.

The role requires reading MSDS sheets, following standard work instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior lean/manufacturing experience and dexterity with hand tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient English reading and writing; able to read MSDS sheets and work instructions.
• Minimum 1 year in assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency; able to use hand/power tools and read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished product for shipment.
• Maintain work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participate in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
