Job summary

Hendrickson in Missouri is seeking an Assembly Technician to use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products per specifications. You will understand parts relationships and facilitate all aspects of the assembly process to meet production targets.

Responsibilities include organizing the assembly flow, performing inspections with basic measurement tools, reporting daily production data, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of production assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Work overtime as needed by production demands.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture.
• All other duties as assigned.
