Job summary

Hendrickson in McKinney, Texas is seeking an Assembly Technician to use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products per company specifications. You will understand how parts relate to the end product and organize all aspects of the assembly process.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, reporting daily activities, conducting quality checks with basic measurement equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug-free.
• Follow all safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product using total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Report daily activities and production data.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Contribute to safety culture and report safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Coordinator.
