Job summary

Hendrickson in Mount Vernon, MO is seeking an assembly worker. Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble products per company and customer specifications.

Understand parts and their relationships to the end product and facilitate all aspects of the assembly process. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of prior production assembly experience, and ability to interpret production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Responsibilities

• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• All other duties as assigned.
