Corvac Composites, LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Assembly Operator in Kentwood, MI. The role focuses on efficient operation of assembly equipment to safely produce and pack quality products that meet customer requirements.

Requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and basic math/reading skills. OT may be required; High school diploma or GED preferred. Training on HMI and lean principles provided.

Formación

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills
• Ability to work OT as needed
• High school diploma / GED preferred
• Must be able to use and read various measuring devices
• Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
• Understand multiple types of assembly machine functions
• Problem solving knowledge and ability
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
• Attention to detail/Quality mindset

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
• Follow standardized work instructions
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
• Observe general and specific safety rules including light curtain and other safety devices while the machine is in operation
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
• Fill out all required paperwork including production, scrap and downtime
• Rework and repair defective parts as needed
• Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM 40 hours a week with occasional overtime
• Provide coverage for the 1st shift assembly operations as needed
