Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
• 1+ years of precision assembly experience in a manufacturing environment or related experience.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, travelers, drawings, and assembly documentation.
• Ability to perform detailed hand work while viewing parts through a stereo microscope.
• Ability to document work on paper travelers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small parts using adhesives and fasteners under a stereo microscope.
• Test completed modules in an x-ray cabinet with specialized software.
• Document work on paper travelers with serial numbers, epoxy masses, and dates.

• Report quality problems or defects to prevent recurrence.
