Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to drive improvements in the assembly process. On-the-job training is provided, and all work occurs in explosive handling areas. The role involves setting up equipment, assembling subassemblies, and ensuring safe handling of energetic materials in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include ability to work under supervision and proficiency in English. Prior soldering experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to work under direct supervision.
• Must have the ability to understand, speak, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision and support assembly tasks.
• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• Some basic soldering experience is possible.
• Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Follow drawings and written instructions to assemble, modify or re-work units.
• Install sub-assemblies and ensure safe handling of explosive devices.
• Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements (e.g., JSTD).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
