You will assemble parts and components to build finished products according to blueprints and work instructions, using a variety of tools while ensuring quality and safety. This hands-on role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and collaboration with fellow team members to keep production moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Gather the parts, tools, and materials needed to complete work.
• Position, align, and fasten components to create finished assemblies.
• Use templates, measurements, and basic measuring tools to position components.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and quality.
• Identify and communicate assembly or quality concerns.
• Make basic adjustments to components when needed to meet specifications.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and help keep equipment operating properly.
• Monitor materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work.
• Safely and efficiently use tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company and plant safety procedures.
• Work with other team members and departments to meet production goals.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
