Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Laconia, NH is seeking an assembler to follow prints and process instructions, assemble parts with bonding agents and tools, and work with Engineering to improve procedures.

The role requires basic math, ability to read blueprints, perform first piece inspections, maintain accurate records, lift up to 35 lbs, and comply with ITAR and safety standards; candidates should have manufacturing or assembly experience and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or assembly.
• Ability to sit, stand or a combination of both over a 7.5 hr period or longer.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• ITAR compliance and U.S. person status required.
• No immigration sponsorship offered; reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts per prints and process instructions using necessary tooling.
• Perform basic math calculations and interpret basic blueprints.
• Perform first piece inspection on assigned jobs using visual or dimensional specifications.
• Create top level assembly using subcomponents made and purchased to the customer print.
• Work with Engineering on new assembly processes troubleshooting and improving procedures.
• Mark parts according to customer specifications.
• Perform necessary pressure and/or thermal testing as required.
• Maintain a safe clean working environment and adhere to safety procedures.
