Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in mechanical/engine or automotive trade school or an associate’s degree; or 3 years in durable goods assembly/manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
• Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies.
• Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals, and plan assembly operations.
• Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
