Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Assembler for the site in Graniteville, SC. This full-time role requires the ability to work any shift and overtime as needed. You will position and align components, fasten piping and wiring, and read blueprints to plan operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus technical training or equivalent experience, and be authorized to work in the U.S. Relocation is not available. Power Systems mtu units support marine and infrastructure applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years in a mechanical, engine or automotive trade school or equivalent associate’s degree; or 3 years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; we do not sponsor visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists, and verify parts clearances
• Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies
• Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies
• Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals, and plan assembly or building operations
• Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
