Job summary

Badger Meter is hiring an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Racine, WI. You will assemble parts per drawings and work instructions, using a range of hand, electric and pneumatic tools to produce accurate components for our water technology products.

The role requires 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing, the ability to read drawings, and basic computer skills including an ERP system and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience.
• Understand gluing and centering to tight tolerances across multiple products.
• Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Operate hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Use circular saws and deburring tools for modified assemblies.
• Calibrate gas to test sensors.
• Record daily activity in the Production system and review work instructions.
• Support safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement efforts.
