Job summary

Hudson Lock, LLC in Hudson, MA is seeking an assembler responsible for assembling components per work instructions and drawings, ensuring products meet specifications, safety requirements, and customer expectations.

You will read orders, use hand tools and light presses, inspect parts for quality, maintain production records, and collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules. This is a full-time manufacturing-floor role with benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior assembly/mfg experience preferred.
  • Ability to read instructions, diagrams and drawings.
  • Basic computer/data entry for production recording.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.
  • Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools, fixtures, and small presses.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance.
  • Maintain production records including counts, scrap, and time.
  • Report defects or safety hazards to supervisor.
  • Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team to meet schedules and targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
