Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking an Assembler I at our Beaver Dam, WI site. You will perform basic assembly tasks, validate materials, and follow work instructions to build products to specification while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with potential progression to more advanced assembly levels. Overtime on Fridays is possible, and the schedule is typically Monday to Thursday with Friday OT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for Assemblies II and III
• 1 year of complex assembly or related experience for Assembly II (Internal: Demonstrated Assembler II competency)
• 2 years of complex assembly or related experience for Assembly III (Internal: Demonstrated Assembler III competency & high school diploma or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and safety policies while assembling products
• Resolve assembly issues with guidance from peers or supervisor, adhering to work instructions and ERP data
• Lead and train others in work instructions and standard work when needed, cross-train in multiple areas
