Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an assembler in Lorain, OH to assemble products per work instructions and drawings in a team-based manufacturing setting. You will operate hand and power tools, inspect parts for quality, and ensure on-time completion of daily production goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and basic math/reading of instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, components, and parts according to work instructions, blueprints, or assembly drawings.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Package completed products for shipping or transfer to the next production stage.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately.
• Perform basic testing or verification of assembled products when required.
• Follow established production schedules and meet daily output goals.
• Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of material shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
