Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense is seeking a skilled assembler to build, repair, and align complex mechanical and electrical assemblies. You will work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires experience in soldering, measurement, and inspection, with a focus on continuous improvement and accurate documentation. This is a hands-on manufacturing position supporting defense and aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent to read blueprints and electrical assembly diagrams.
• 6–12 months of related assembly experience to qualify.
• Soldering school certification may be required to ensure customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, rework, and align complex assemblies, such as gear trains and chassis.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly diagrams to ensure proper fit and function.
• Use gauges, micrometers, and test equipment to check and calibrate alignment and tolerances.
• Assemble and rework electrical assemblies, harnesses, or final assemblies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records and participate in continuous improvement.
