Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions, a leader in Signature Management and Power Conversion, is seeking an assembler to build products to engineering drawings in a safe, organized workspace. The role includes soldering components, wiring, mounting parts on chassis, and completing subassemblies per IPC standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in manufacturing or a technical certificate, with basic math skills and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate.
• Soldering and Acetylene Torch use.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems.
• Maintain a neat, FOD-free, safe and organized work area.
• Soldering and assembly of switches, PCB’s, and similar assemblies per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001; route wires per IPC-A-620.
• Mounts assembled components on chassis and installs assemblies in cases or housings.
• Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, color-coding.
