Job summary

Flowserve in Louisiana is seeking a Precision Assembler to prepare, assemble, test, and document equipment and tools with high accuracy. You will disassemble and reassemble during repairs, ensure cleanliness, and follow assembly procedures using micrometers, verniers, and CMMs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of inspection equipment and their uses to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Ensure parts and components are clean prior to assembly and assemblies follow all procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Operate precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier, CMM) and hand tools (hydraulic torque wrench, torch).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents; write routine reports.
