Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our production line. You will read blueprints and work instructions, perform repetitive assembly, and ensure parts meet quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean 5S-compliant workspace.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods, and shift work on the 3rd shift (9 PM–5 AM). Starting pay is $17.05 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, work instructions, and production orders to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Assemble components using hand tools and simple power equipment.
• Operate test equipment and report issues to supervisor.
• Record production data accurately in the computer system.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork to meet production goals.
