Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (CVG) is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform assembly tasks on a production line, following detailed work instructions and specifications to ensure quality and safety.

The role supports timely delivery of high-quality products in a manufacturing plant environment, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and adhere to 5S standards. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year of manufacturing experience, and strong problem-solving and teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience and 2 years of job history.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schedules, work instructions, and production orders.
• Assemble parts using hand tools and simple power equipment.
• Inspect components and report nonconformances to supervisor or QA.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork to meet production goals.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
