Job summary

Men's Wearhouse in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to deliver high-quality craftsmanship, perform alterations, measurements, fittings and garment repairs with a strong eye for detail.

You will work as part of a busy store team, maintain quality finishes, press garments, tag and organize finished work, assist with inventory, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience performing standard alterations and garment repairs.
• Strong sewing and alteration abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with a team and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations (e.g., pant hems, waist/seat, rise, tapering, sleeves, seams) per guidelines.
• Maintain 60 minutes productive alteration per hour.
• Ensure garments meet quality standards; secure stitching; remove loose threads.
• Press garments for a clean finish.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; maintain tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency with tailor shop equipment.
• Tag, organize, and prepare completed work for pickup.
• Assist inventory management and request replenishment as needed.
• Support front-of-house tasks and Customer consultations as needed.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through personalized tailoring guidance.
