Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. seeks a dedicated Tailor Shop associate to perform standard alterations including hems, waist/seat adjustments, and collar tweaks. You will maintain quality finishes, press garments, and keep a clean, organized workspace while assisting customers.

20+ hours per week with opportunities to support front-of-house and inventory tasks. You will follow detailed instructions, operate sewing machines and presses, and provide personalized garment fit guidance for a great customer

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality alterations.
• Excellent time management to complete alterations within timeframes.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to read, count, and write to complete required documentation.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials.
• Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations such as pant hems, waist and seat adjustments, rise and tapering modifications.
• Ensure garments meet high-quality standards with clean finishes and secure stitching.
• Press garments to achieve a clean, crisp finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and store tools properly.
• Assist with inventory management and restock as needed.
• Support front-of-house activities and assist customers with fittings and consultations.
• Participate in customer consultations and offer guidance on alterations and garment fit.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by listening to needs and offering personalized solutions.
• Operate tailor shop equipment (sewing machines, presses) with precision.
• Follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing requirements.
