Job summary

Tailor Shop is seeking a detail-oriented associate to run production and operations for alterations, ensuring high-quality finishes and timely service. You will perform hems, waist and sleeve adjustments, rise and tapering, and collar refinements with precision.

Proficiency with sewing machines and presses, ability to follow detailed instructions, and strong customer-service skills are required. This role supports inventory management and front-of-house tasks; 20+ hours per week are possible.

Qualifications

• Tailor alteration experience preferred, including hems, waist adjustments, and sleeve alterations.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain garment quality.
• Excellent time management to complete alterations within allotted timeframes.
• Strong communication to consult with customers and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations per customer specifications and company guidelines.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the tailor shop and tools.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring tailoring supplies and requesting replenishment.
• Support front-of-house activities and customer consultations when needed.
