Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking an Alignment Technician for its Big O Tires franchise. You will perform brake, alignment, and front-end maintenance, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, vehicle inspections, and supporting store profitability while upholding company policies. This role requires reliable transportation and availability to work varied hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end, and alignment maintenance and related mechanical work.
• Maintain orderly flow of service and ensure productivity.
• Provide Big O Extra Care Services to customers.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles with quality control of shop functions.
• Operate vehicles safely in/out of service areas.
• Attend weekly store meetings for safety and policy updates.
• Assist in documenting and processing adjustments and core credits.
• Support management in achieving service, sales, and productivity goals.
• Provide accurate information for invoicing and use company purchase programs.
• Contribute to vehicle inspection program execution and store outcomes.
• Assist in orientation and training of new personnel.
