Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking qualified assemblers for aircraft seating components. You will perform sub-assembly, bonding, riveting, and final assembly, following detailed drawings and work orders to ensure precise fit and finish. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to blueprints throughout the production process.

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or 2 years relevant experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Company will not offer immigration sponsorship or export authorization.
• Blueprint proficiency and ability to read work orders, trim and finish drawings, blueprints, and job cards.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and components with bonding and riveting.
• Install and adjust aircraft seat parts and assemblies.
• Interpret drawings and work orders to assemble components accurately.
• Set up fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment to exact specs.
• Fit and adjust metal and plastic details to structures and weldments.
• Perform final checks and adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
