Job summary

FS Companies’ Agronomy department is seeking an Agronomy Technology Technician to advance precision ag tools, data platforms, and digital solutions across locations. You will support the sales team, locations, and customers by implementing and maintaining technology, ensuring accurate data and effective reporting.

The ideal candidate has agronomic knowledge, strong technical skills, and the ability to communicate across audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in agronomy, precision agriculture, or ag technology support.
• Strong understanding of precision ag systems, including GPS, VR tech, and data management platforms.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct meetings related to agronomy technology and system capabilities.
• Manage automated agronomy systems, data platforms, and application technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and field technology issues.
• Train employees and customers on precision ag tools and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with agronomy, operations, and sales teams to improve efficiency and service.
