Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, routings, and specifications.
• Basic shop math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to use basic measuring/inspection devices to verify conformance.
• Follow assembly procedures, torque requirements, and quality standards.
• Accurate completion of production, inspection, testing, and traceability documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace valve components per drawings, BOMs, routings, and specifications.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly using hand tools, fixtures, adhesives, lubricants, sealants, and torque requirements.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify dimensional and quality criteria.
• Perform functional, leak, and pressure tests when trained and authorized.
• Record labor, production quantities, scrap, test results, and material usage in ERP.
