Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly or related production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and specifications.
• Basic measuring and inspection device proficiency.
• Follow assembly procedures, torque requirements, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assembles aerospace valve components and finished products per drawings, BOMs, routings, and customer specs.
• Performs precision assembly using hand tools, fixtures, adhesives, and torque requirements.
• Verifies identity, revision level, quantity, and traceability prior to assembly.
• Reads drawings and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Performs in-process inspections to ensure dimensional and quality compliance.
• Conducts functional, leak, and pressure tests as trained and authorized.
• Records labor, production quantities, scrap, and test results in ERP or documents.
• Maintains clean, 5S-compliant work area and proper PPE usage.
