Job summary

TLD seeks an Assembly Technician to join their Morgantown, WV team. You will assemble preformed sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches and other tools, and read technical drawings to ensure quality and fit.

Responsibilities include assembling and pressure testing valves, maintaining accurate time logs, and keeping work areas organized. A high school diploma and about 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measuring scales/tapes.
• Experience assembling preformed sheet metal parts and using related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work in a team or solo environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches and other common tools.
• Operate equipment with a focus on safety for self and others.
• Assemble and pressure test valves and related components.
• Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and daily time logs.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other assigned tasks.
