Qualifications

• Education requirement: high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Reasoning to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verifies stock to work order requirements (alloy, temper, gauge, size, producer, lot no).
• Sets up saw and cuts parts to required tolerances.
• Marks parts with customer identification and labels remnants per policy.
• Operates tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Performs routine maintenance and housekeeping; supports safety policies.
• May operate forklift and overhead crane as needed.
• Possibility of lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.

Education
