Job summary

AMI Metals, Inc. in Saint Charles, MO, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to verify stock, set up saws, and inspect parts to meet customer tolerances.

You will measure using micrometers and calipers, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate a forklift/overhead crane as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, forklift certification preferred. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Verify stock to work orders (alloy, temper, gauge, size, producer, lot number, grain direction).
• Set up saws and cut parts to required tolerances using micrometer and caliper.
• Mark, label, and identify parts per customer specs; ensure QC stamps as required.
• Operate metal saw and perform daily/weekly maintenance checks; keep the area clean and safe.
