Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and travelers.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure parts meet specs.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis laser machines to cut sheet-metal parts.
• Verify material type, thickness, quantity, and program before production.
• Load/unload sheet material and finished parts safely with proper equipment.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers and gauges.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and defects; adjust as needed.
• Conduct routine machine care and housekeeping; replace consumables as needed.
• Complete travelers, records, and material traceability documentation.
• Follow safety requirements, PPE, quality procedures, and 5S practices.
• Assist in other fabrication or production areas as needed.
