Prysmian in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a 16 Carrier Braider Operator to run multiple braiding lines and maintain high-quality braiding for cable conductors. You will load carriers, thread braiding material, monitor run times, replace spools, and document production data in SAP, while following 6S and safety practices on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong color perception, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with the initiative to sustain tight

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Reading, writing and basic math are part of duties.
• Exceptional color perception required.
• Ability to maintain 1/1000 inch tolerances.
• Must have physical strength to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Operate 16 Carrier Braider lines and related equipment.
• Braiding to provide braided covering over pair conductors.
• Load carriers, thread ends through closing die, and load core in payoff.
• Monitor machine run time and replace spools as needed.
• Document production labor and material movements in SAP.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping and participate in safety and lean initiatives.
