Job summary

Prysmian Group in Claremont, NC is seeking a Production Line Operator to run equipment and produce quality cables safely and efficiently. You will perform setups, monitor product quality, load/unload material, and log traceability data in a high-performing team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays. Training for forklift operation may be provided if needed.

The Production Line Operator is responsible for the day-to-day duties in running equipment to produce quality product, safely and in a timely manner. * Work in a safe manner at all times while following all safety policies and procedures.* Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Identifies any potential safety hazards to Supervisor or HSE Manager to promote the “Zero and Beyond” safety goal/initiative.* Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product.* Performing setups in accordance with established procedure.* Loading/unloading equipment.* Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders.* Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality.* Participating in cross-training activities* Performing other duties as required or directed.
