Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of certified phlebotomy program preferred.
• Experience with Cerner EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately within established turn-around times.
• Transports and processes specimens with attention to patient safety and specimen integrity.
• Documents tests and collection data in the system per policy and HIPAA requirements.
• Interacts professionally with patients and staff, upholding infection control and safety standards.
• Contributes to the efficient operation of the laboratory and participates in ongoing education.
