Job summary

Wells in Wisconsin seeks a Labor Trainer to teach and guide production employees in precast concrete manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to policies. You will lead hands-on training, reinforce best practices, and partner with production leadership to close skills gaps.

The ideal candidate will have experience training and coaching workers, with strong communication and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in precast concrete, concrete construction, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and communicate effectively.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and understand production drawings, instructions, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Train new and current employees on precast manufacturing processes, procedures, expectations, quality standards, inspection processes, and defect identification.
• Provide hands-on instruction for production tasks, tools, equipment, and work methods.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and assess readiness for independent work.
• Maintain accurate training records and employee progress documentation.
• Partner with production leaders to identify skill gaps, track training progress, address performance concerns, and develop training plans.
• Standardize work methods and recommend improvements related to productivity, quality, safety, and training.
• Lead by example through professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to quality and safety.
