Job summary

Wells Concrete seeks a Labor Trainer to guide and develop production employees in precast manufacturing. You will reinforce safety requirements, quality expectations, and proper use of tools, while working with leadership and the Safety team to promote best practices across the plant.

The role involves hands-on training, coaching, and maintaining training records to support employee growth and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Trains and coaches employees on precast manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Reads and interprets production drawings and instructions to guide teams.
• Communicates effectively with employees at all levels and promotes safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Train new and current employees on precast manufacturing processes, procedures, expectations, quality standards, inspection processes, and defect identification.
• Provide hands-on instruction for production tasks, tools, equipment, and work methods.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and assess readiness for independent work.
• Maintain accurate training records and employee progress documentation.
• Partner with production leaders to identify skill gaps and develop training plans.
• Standardize work methods and suggest improvements for productivity, quality, safety, and training.
• Lead by example with professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
