Job summary

Wells is seeking a dependable Laborer to join our precast production team in a hands-on, physical role. You\'ll form, pour, finish, and handle concrete products, assist in placement, operate equipment, and keep the work area clean and safe.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, safety-minded, and a team player who can learn multiple production tasks and contribute to a productive crew. Previous construction or labor experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or laborer experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts consistently.
• Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures.
• Willingness to learn production processes and equipment operation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Strip cured concrete products from forms and load for transport.
• Clean and prepare forms using hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Set up forms including rebar placement, stressing, and imbeds installation.
• Assist with pouring, placing, raking, and shoveling concrete.
• Finish concrete using hand and power tools to required specifications.
• Perform general plant cleanup and housekeeping duties.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other production equipment.
• Support safe operation of trucks, trailers, tractors, and related equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.
