Job summary

Wells in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to join our precast concrete manufacturing team. You will perform inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure PCI standards and project specifications are met.

This role supports quality assurance across pre-pour, post-pour, and material testing activities, working closely with production to identify issues, maintain safety, and record accurate QC data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and pour sheets.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour inspections including dimensions, reinforcement placement, strand location, and form quality.
• Conduct post-pour inspections of finished precast concrete products.
• Perform wet and hardened concrete testing including slump, temperature, air content, unit weight, and cylinder strength.
• Prepare and test concrete specimens to verify compliance with strength requirements.
• Conduct aggregate gradation and sieve analysis testing.
• Monitor and document cable tensioning processes and record elongation data.
