Construction Material Testing in Fairbanks, AK seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production, or perform owner and agency plant inspections for DOT programs.

You will verify prestressing operations, review mix designs and strength records, accept or reject finished products, maintain PCI/DOT QC records, and supervise Level I inspectors. ACI certs are a plus.

Qualificações

• Current PCI Level II certification with 2+ years in a certified precast/prestressed plant.
• Working knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specs.
• ACI strength testing certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Verify prestressing operations: strand certification, tensioning, elongation, detensioning, transfer strength.
• Review mix designs, batch tickets, and strength records.
• Accept or reject finished products against specs and shop drawings; disposition repairs.
• Maintain plant QC records for PCI/DOT programs and supervise Level I inspectors.
• Assign daily coverage, review inspectors' records, and ensure compliance.
