Construction Material Testing in Anchorage, AK seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector I to perform plant quality control on precast and prestressed concrete. You will inspect forms, reinforcement, embeds, and blockouts, verify strand tensioning records, run fresh concrete tests, cast cylinders, and inspect finished pieces before shipment.

PCI Level I or ACI Grade I is required or to be earned soon. Plant hours are early and travel between plants on a project basis with possible per diem.

Formación

• PCI Level I certification or ACI Grade I with plant experience required.
• Ability to read shop drawings and tensioning calculations.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented with accurate data reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect forms, reinforcement, embeds, and blockouts against shop drawings before pours.
• Verify strand tensioning elongation and force records against calculations.
• Run fresh concrete tests and cast cylinders per ASTM C31; record results.
• Inspect finished products for dimensions, camber, finish and defects.
• Tag units for shipment or repair and maintain QC documentation.
