County Materials Family of Companies, with County Prestress in Westmont, IL, seeks a Project Engineer to support engineering from presale to erection. You will work with Project Managers and drafting teams to ensure accurate designs and timely project progression.

Required: a 4-year engineering degree; 1–5 years in precast design; EIT preferred. Indoor work environment with standard business hours and opportunities for growth within a growing concrete manufacturing group.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; master’s preferred.
• 1–5 years of precast design experience or equivalent in building construction design.
• Engineer in Training certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform duties under supervision of senior engineers.
• Provide frame, component, and connection designs for low complexity projects.
• Prepare calculations for submittals to customers and officials.
• Coordinate with project coordinators during erection drawings prep.
• Liaise between County Prestress & Precast and various stakeholders.
• Monitor project phases to meet customer and production needs.
• Visit jobsites and production facilities to understand processes.
• Propose cost-reducing improvements while maintaining quality.
