Job summary

Poeppelman Materials in West Milton is seeking an experienced Precast Concrete Operations Manager to lead our precast production facility. You will own operational performance and build the people, processes, and culture to support significant future growth.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of precast processes, safety focus, and a track record of driving manufacturing excellence, with a commitment to quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields preferred
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with a proven track record of building effective processes, driving accountability, developing high-performing teams, and strengthening workplace culture
• Strong leadership, budget tracking, data analysis, problem solving, communication skills, and accountability
• Ability to read engineering drawings, structural designs, and concrete mix specifications
• Active participation in state and national industry associations, committees, conferences, and training opportunities

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and manufacturing excellence within the executive team to influence strategy and growth
• Establish, document, train, and enforce SOPs across the facility
• Identify and deploy manufacturing technologies and automation to support efficiency
• Monitor KPIs, implement quality controls and standards
• Build processes, staffing plans, production systems, and leadership for future growth
• Oversee budgets, forecast financial data, track expenses, and manage resources
• Ensure safety protocols to minimize incidents
• Develop people, mentor staff, foster safe accountability culture
